Football and basketball tables carry star rookies, inserts and numbered parallels; hockey picks up as the season starts. Graded slabs from PSA, SGC and BGS sit in locked showcases. But Bridgeview's identity is raw volume: dime boxes, quarter boxes, dollar boxes and top-loadered stars, priced to move. Expect additional tables with unopened wax, autographed baseballs and footballs, memorabilia and card supplies, plus a few carrying Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh!
A four-hour window means the show has a distinct arc: full at 11:00 AM, peak around noon, and softening after 2:00 PM when dealers would rather sell than repack. Hunters should come at open. Bargainers should come late. There is no VIP tier or early entry, so everyone starts even.
The community center is at 7900 S Oketo Ave in Bridgeview, with free parking in its own lot, level entry and accessible restrooms. It is a short drive from I-294, Harlem Avenue and 79th Street, pulling from Burbank, Oak Lawn, Justice, Hickory Hills, Palos Hills and the Clearing and Garfield Ridge neighborhoods.
Who should come: families and first-timers, given free entry and dollar-box pricing that lets a kid buy a real stack of cards for pocket money. Set builders and vintage diggers get one of the better raw floors in the south suburbs. Casual collectors will find most of the room priced well under fifty dollars a card. Serious buyers should ask what dealers are keeping behind the table.
Bring cash in small bills — dollar-box traffic runs on ones and fives, and several tables remain cash-only. Carry penny sleeves, top loaders and a small box for pickups, plus a written want list.
