🃏 About This Event

The Carmel Sports Card Show takes over American Legion Post 155 on West Main Street on Saturday, August 29, 2026, anchoring one of the busiest collecting weekends of the late summer in Hamilton County. Organizer Ryan runs a two-day format at this venue — sports on Saturday, a dedicated Pokemon show on Sunday — and the Saturday sports session has become a fixture for north-side collectors who want a real dealer floor without paying convention prices or fighting downtown parking.

The room is built around sports cards and it shows. Dealers stock MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL across every era, with the depth skewing toward vintage and mid-range modern rather than ultra-high-end. Expect long runs of 1950s through 1980s Topps and Bowman, complete-set opportunities, star singles in the two-to-mid-hundreds range, and organized commons boxes that set builders can actually work. Modern product covers Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft and Bowman Chrome, plus premium National Treasures and Immaculate turning up in the locked cases. Colts, Pacers, Notre Dame, Indiana University and Purdue inventory runs deeper here than at most metro shows because the Carmel and Zionsville collecting base demands it. Secondary categories include UFC, boxing, soccer, racing and Indy 500 memorabilia, autographed photos and balls, vintage comics, Funko Pops and hobby supplies. A few tables carry trading card games, though the serious TCG material is saved for Sunday.

Hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern. Admission is free and parking at the legion lot costs nothing. Kids attend free and are a common sight on the floor. The post bar is typically open for drinks and simple food.

American Legion Post 155 is located at 852 West Main Street, Carmel, IN 46032, in the heart of old-town Carmel just west of the Monon Trail and a couple minutes from the Arts and Design District. It is an easy fifteen minutes from Fishers, Zionsville, Westfield or north Indianapolis, and US 31 and Keystone Parkway both feed straight to it. The hall is single-level and climate-controlled, which matters in an Indiana August. Main Street has a dozen restaurants within walking distance if you want to make an afternoon of it.

The show suits vintage hunters, set builders and mid-range modern collectors best. Dealers here are generally patient with questions and willing to negotiate on multiples, which makes it a strong show for someone building a collection rather than flipping. Investors chasing six-figure slabs should calibrate expectations — the high end exists but is not the point of the room.

To get the most out of it, show up at 9:00 AM when tables are still being set and the sharpest material is still on top of the pile. Bring cash in twenties and smaller, since cash routinely gets you five to ten percent off a stack. Carry a want list, penny sleeves, top loaders and a box. Bundle purchases from a single dealer and ask for a package price rather than haggling card by card. Text Ryan at 317-586-9982 for table availability and to confirm the date.
