The Clearwater Bay Area Card Show has quietly become one of the best-value stops on the Tampa Bay circuit: more than 100 dealer tables, free admission, and a Friday-Saturday format that catches collectors who cannot make a Sunday show. The September edition runs Friday, September 11 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Banquet Masters, 13355 49th Street North, Clearwater, FL 33762.
Opening at 2:00 PM and running to 8:00 PM on Friday means you can get there after work, and the Friday crowd is noticeably less frantic than a Saturday morning rush — more room to actually talk to dealers, more willingness to dig through boxes with you, more time to think about a purchase before someone else takes it.
Free surface parking, a single large climate-controlled space, wide aisles, and clean restrooms.
Free admission means your entire budget goes to cards, but it also means the show draws steady traffic, so the sharpest raw deals move early on Friday. If you are a serious hunter, be there close to the 2:00 PM Friday open.
