About This Event

The November Clearwater Bay Area Card Show runs Friday, November 6 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, November 7 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Banquet Masters, 13355 49th Street North, Clearwater, FL 33762, with more than 100 dealer tables and free admission throughout.

Early November is when the Tampa Bay hobby calendar starts pointing toward the holidays, and that changes the buying dynamic in a useful way. Collectors begin shopping for gifts, which means demand rises for entry-level and mid-tier material. At the same time, dealers who have been sitting on inventory since summer often become more willing to move it before the year closes. If you are buying for someone else — a starter binder, a first graded card, a childhood-favorite player from the vintage boxes — this is the show where you will find both the selection and the price flexibility. The weather helps too: early November in Pinellas County is about as pleasant as Florida gets, which reliably improves turnout on both sides of the table.

The sports calendar is also at a productive point. The NFL season is past its midpoint with playoff pictures forming, the NBA and NHL are a month in, and baseball's offseason free-agent movement is beginning to reshape values. Cards move on all of that.

Dealers come from across the state and the inventory runs the full range. Sports cards anchor the floor: baseball, football, basketball, and hockey, spanning pre-war and post-war vintage, junk-wax-era commons, and current-year rookies, parallels, and numbered inserts. Graded material is well represented with PSA, BGS, and SGC slabs in cases at the larger tables. Alongside that, expect non-sports cards, a substantial Pokemon and modern TCG presence, comics, sports memorabilia, and general collectibles. Buying, selling, and trading all happen actively, and several dealers here purchase collections outright — worth knowing if you are looking to move material rather than acquire it.

The Friday afternoon-to-evening session remains this show's real advantage over the rest of the Pinellas circuit. Nearly every other local show is weekend-morning only, which locks out anyone on a standard work schedule. A 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday window means you can arrive after work into a room that is busy but not overwhelming, with dealers who still have the patience to dig through a box with you.

Banquet Masters is a purpose-built event hall: free surface parking, one large climate-controlled room, wide aisles, clean facilities. It sits just north of Ulmerton Road in the 49th Street corridor, minutes from the Gateway area and easy from anywhere in Pinellas or across the bay.

Bring cash in mixed denominations, a want list organized by set and card number, and enough penny sleeves and toploaders for what you buy. Arrive at the Friday open for the sharpest raw deals; come Saturday midday for the fullest dealer turnout; make offers late Saturday when tear-down is approaching. Ask before removing cards from cases, handle by the edges, and settle price before a detailed inspection. Dealer tables are $135 — contact Daniel at 727-771-5802 or [email protected].
