Collectors Palooza closes its 2026 season at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center on Sunday, December 13, 2026 — the final and typically the largest edition of the year. The December show operates on two levels at once: it is the last major trading card marketplace in central Indiana before the holidays, and it is a genuine community event, with the regulars who have worked the monthly circuit all year turning out to trade, catch up and close out their want lists. Expect the fullest dealer roster of the season and attendance to match.
Pokemon dominates the hall. Vintage sellers bring Wizards of the Coast material — Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, Gym and Neo — raw and graded, with shadowless and first-edition cards anchoring the locked cases. Modern coverage runs through Sword & Shield and current Scarlet & Violet releases with alt arts, special illustration rares, full arts, gold cards and sealed product, which in December moves faster than anything else on the floor. Japanese imports run deep, including sealed boxes and promos never printed in English. One Piece Card Game holds the second-largest presence, followed by Magic: The Gathering spanning Commander staples to reserved-list singles, plus Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Super and Digimon on dedicated tables. Sports cards, particularly modern basketball and football, take a meaningful share of the room. Vendors also bring plushies, Funko Pops, pins, custom artwork, playmats, binders, deck boxes, sleeves and storage, and the bulk bins and dollar boxes stay stocked so that kids and budget shoppers are not shut out.
Hours run 9:00 AM to roughly 5:00 PM Eastern. Early-bird admission is typically around ten dollars for the first two hours; general admission drops to about five dollars afterward. Fairgrounds parking runs roughly ten dollars per vehicle. Children are welcome and the event is deliberately family friendly.
The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center is at 1202 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205, just north of downtown with direct access from I-65, Fall Creek Parkway and Keystone Avenue. Acres of parking, heated exhibition halls, wide aisles, clean restrooms and on-site concessions make it the most comfortable large venue in the metro — and in mid-December, the heated hall and covered walk from the lot are not a trivial advantage.
The December date draws gift shoppers, competitive players preparing for winter League Cups and Regional qualifiers, and investors looking for year-end deals from sellers who want to close their books. All three do well. Sealed product buyers should be aware that December is the month it disappears fastest, so plan accordingly.
