🎪 About This Event

Saturday, December 12, 2026 is the main day of the Denver Card Shows holiday weekend at the National Western Livestock Center, with more than 600 dealer tables on the floor. The December edition has a character all its own. It is the last major Front Range show before the holidays, which means two distinct crowds share the hall: collectors doing serious year-end buying, and people shopping for gifts who may never have set foot in a card show before. Dealers know this and stock accordingly — you will find more affordable, giftable material than at any other Denver show of the year, sitting alongside the high-end cases.

The inventory range is regional in scope. Sports card dealers cover MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer across every era: pre-war issues, 1950s and 1960s Topps and Bowman, 1970s and 1980s Topps, Fleer, and Donruss, 1990s inserts and refractors, and modern Panini Prizm, National Treasures, Flawless, Donruss Optic, Select, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft, and Topps Dynasty. December means the NFL playoff race is peaking and the NBA and NHL seasons are in full swing, so Broncos, Nuggets, and Avalanche inventory is at its most active. Rockies collectors get a quiet offseason market with room to buy well. Trading card game dealers stock Pokemon from Base Set and vintage Wizards of the Coast through Scarlet and Violet and Japanese exclusives — a category that dominates holiday gift buying — plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Digimon, and Dragon Ball Z. Locked cases hold high-end PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC graded slabs, and breakers, grading submission services, memorabilia dealers, comics vendors, and supply sellers fill out the hall.

Saturday hours run 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Time, the longest day of the three-day weekend. General admission is free. Parking at the National Western Center is $15 per day. Children enter free, and December brings out more families than any other edition.

The National Western Livestock Center is just north of downtown Denver with access from I-70 and Brighton Boulevard, and offers large on-site paid lots. The hall is heated, expansive, ADA-accessible, and served by concessions. December weather can complicate the drive, so check conditions before setting out and allow extra time.

This show serves gift buyers and serious collectors equally. Newcomers shopping for a young collector will find dealers unusually patient and plenty of sealed product, starter lots, and affordable singles under twenty dollars. Serious buyers chase graded vintage and modern case hits, set builders work long runs, breakers restock for the winter, and TCG players find the region's deepest singles selection.

At 600-plus tables, plan the day. Arrive at 10:00 AM, take a fast orientation lap without buying, then work back through methodically. Bring cash plus Venmo and Zelle, a want list, sleeves, top loaders, and a carrying box. Budget $15 for parking. If you are gift shopping, tell dealers the recipient's age and favorite team — they will point you somewhere useful. Check denvercardshows.com for the guest lineup.
