The JJ All Star Mini Monster Card Show brings one of central Indiana's best-known promoters to the Hendricks County Fairgrounds in Danville on Saturday, October 24, 2026. JJ All Star Sportscards is the team behind the Fishers regional shows and the Midwest Monster at Best Choice Fieldhouse, and the Mini Monster is their west-side format: a larger-than-usual one-day show billed as the Indianapolis West edition, with free admission and a family-friendly floor.
The inventory reflects JJ's sports-card roots. Baseball, football and basketball dominate, with deep Colts, Pacers, Reds, Cubs and Indiana college inventory. Vintage dealers typically bring pre-1980 Topps and Bowman stars, complete and near-complete sets, and mid-grade commons for set builders. Modern tables are stocked with Prizm, Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, Bowman Draft and high-end products such as National Treasures and Flawless in the cases. Graded slabs from PSA, BGS and SGC are everywhere, and it is common to find hockey, UFC, racing and autographed memorabilia on the floor. Because JJ shows draw from across Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, you will also usually see several Pokemon and TCG tables, making it a reasonable stop for kids and families with mixed interests.
The show runs Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern, which is a longer day than most metro shows and gives you room to take your time. Admission is free, and kids are always welcome according to the promoter.
The Hendricks County Fairgrounds is located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IN 46122, on US 36 between Avon and downtown Danville. From the west side of Indianapolis the drive takes about twenty to twenty-five minutes, and it is easy to reach from Brownsburg, Plainfield and Avon. The fairgrounds has large free parking lots, and the exhibition buildings are single-level, so rolling a cart or case in and out is simple. Downtown Danville's courthouse square has several restaurants for lunch after the show.
This is a good fit for almost everyone in the hobby. Serious dealers and investors will find more high-end material than at a typical legion-hall show, set builders and vintage collectors will find plenty to dig through, and families get free entry and a room full of friendly vendors. It is also a practical show for sellers, since many JJ vendors buy collections outright.
To make the most of the day, arrive at or before 9:00 AM when the best-priced cards are still on the tables. Bring a mix of cash and a payment app, and keep small bills handy for bargaining. Organize your want list by player and set, carry top loaders and team bags, and use your phone to check recent sold comps before paying premium prices. If you are selling, sort your best cards into a separate box so dealers can make fast offers.
