🃏 About This Event

The Schaumburg Card Show returns to the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg on Sunday, November 15, 2026 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM — free admission, free parking, 100-plus dealer tables. This November date sits inside an unusually busy Schaumburg weekend: the Dallas Card Show is running its final day at the Schaumburg Convention Center a few minutes away, closing at 4:00 PM. Ambitious collectors can do both. The Hyatt show opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 2:00 PM; the convention runs 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Start at the Hyatt, finish at the convention center.

Worth understanding why the Hyatt show holds its own against a 450-table convention next door: different rooms serve different needs. The convention is where you find the high-end slab and the autograph line. The Schaumburg Card Show is where you find the dime box, the set filler, the honest price and the dealer who has known your name for a decade. It has been running for years, first as the Rolling Meadows Sports Card Show and now at the Hyatt, and it remains the default monthly meeting point for the northwest-suburban hobby.

The 8:00 AM start is real and regulars honor it. Dealers trade among themselves in the first half hour, the sharpest raw vintage moves before nine, and the room is at full volume by ten.

Over 100 tables produces genuine depth. Sports cards dominate: baseball, football, basketball and hockey from 1950s vintage through current-year releases, including complete and partial sets, 1980s and 1990s wax boxes, star rookies, inserts, numbered parallels and long runs of commons in dime and dollar boxes. Chicago demand shapes inventory — Cubs, White Sox, Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks material is everywhere, and hockey performs better here than at most metro shows. Graded slabs from PSA, SGC and BGS fill showcases. Beyond cards, dealers carry autographs, memorabilia across all sports, unopened wax and a full range of supplies: sleeves, top loaders, one-touches, boxes and binders. Trading card game vendors bring Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and One Piece, though sports is the clear center of gravity.

Admission and parking are both free — an uncommon combination for a hotel show. No VIP tier, no advance ticket, no early-entry upcharge. The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is at 1800 E Golf Road, directly across from the Olive Garden at Woodfield Mall and just west of Route 53, minutes from I-290, I-90 and Route 53.

Who should come: set builders, vintage collectors and anyone who wants selection. A hundred-plus tables lets you compare the same card across several dealers before committing. Families get free entry and dollar boxes. November is also prime holiday-shopping territory for collectors buying gifts.

Sellers: dealer table information runs through Joe Slusarz, and multiple regulars actively buy collections — sort by sport and year before you come.

Bring cash in mixed denominations, sleeves, top loaders, a rigid case for slabs and a written want list. The December date follows on the 6th.
