About This Event

The TruPlayerz Card Show sets up inside a working sports training facility in Rosemount on Sunday, September 13, 2026, and the setting gives it a character no hotel ballroom can match. TruPlayerz is a turf and court training center where south metro kids do speed work, hitting lessons and skills camps during the week. On show days the turf is cleared and lined with dealer tables, which means enormous open space, high ceilings and a floor plan that never feels cramped.

Sports cards are the heart of this show. Expect strong baseball, basketball, football and hockey inventory across vintage, junk wax era, modern and ultra-modern, with a good showing of Minnesota Twins, Vikings, Wild, Timberwolves and University of Minnesota material. Graded cards from PSA, SGC, BGS and CGC fill several cases. Raw star cards, rookie cards, complete team sets, unopened wax and repack products are all represented. Sports memorabilia turns up regularly, including signed baseballs, jerseys, photos and helmets. Several vendors also carry Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! singles and sealed product for the crossover crowd.

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a compact single-day window that keeps the energy high from open to close. Admission is free and no ticket is needed. There is no VIP or early-entry tier, so plan to arrive close to nine if you want first look at the fresh material, which at this show tends to move fast because the dealer base is small enough that regulars know exactly which tables to hit first.

TruPlayerz is at 15641 Canada Circle in Rosemount, in the industrial park area just off Highway 3 and County Road 42, roughly a half hour south of downtown Saint Paul. Parking is free and there is plenty of it directly outside the door. The facility is fully indoors and climate controlled, restrooms are on site, and the wide turf floor is easy to navigate with a stroller or a wheelchair. Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan, Farmington and Lakeville collectors all have short drives, and it is a reasonable trip from anywhere in the south metro.

The show is family friendly by design given the venue's regular clientele. Kids are genuinely welcome, and there is enough inexpensive material in dollar boxes and bargain bins to keep young collectors engaged for the length of a visit. Adult collectors get a room where they can actually talk to dealers instead of shouting over a crowd, which makes it easier to ask about grading, condition and comps. Set builders should bring their checklists, because several vendors here specialize in organized commons and star cards rather than only high-end singles.

Practical advice: bring cash, bring a want list, and bring supplies for anything raw you buy. Because the show only runs six hours, do not spend forty minutes at the first table. Walk the floor, note who has what, then go back and negotiate. Bundling several cards from one dealer almost always beats buying them one at a time. If you have cards to sell, several dealers here buy, so bring them sorted and know roughly what you want before you start the conversation.
