TruPlayerz hosts its October card show on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at its sports training facility in Rosemount. Mid-October is a strong date for a sports-focused show in Minnesota: the Vikings season is deep enough that fans know what they have, the Wild are back on the ice, and baseball postseason results shift what collectors want. Dealers restock accordingly, so the fall dates in this series generally carry more inventory than the summer ones.
Sports cards are the core of the show. Baseball tables cover vintage Topps and Bowman, junk wax era product, star rookies, complete sets and a steady supply of Minnesota Twins material. Football dealers stock Vikings history alongside current NFL rookies, inserts and parallels. Hockey inventory is unusually deep for a show of this scale, reflecting how seriously Minnesota takes the sport, with Wild cards, North Stars nostalgia and vintage material in the cases. Basketball, college and combat sports fill in around them. Graded slabs, raw stars, unopened wax, repacks, team sets, autographed baseballs, jerseys and photos all appear, and several vendors carry Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! singles for crossover collectors.
Admission is free with no ticket, no registration and no early-entry tier. The show runs a tight six hours, which keeps the room active from open to close. Parking is free and directly outside the entrance.
TruPlayerz is at 15641 Canada Circle in Rosemount, in the light industrial area off Highway 3 and County Road 42, about thirty minutes south of downtown Saint Paul. The venue is a turf and court training center that clears its floor for show days, so you get a wide open indoor space with high ceilings, level footing and plenty of aisle room. It is fully climate controlled with restrooms on site, and it handles strollers and wheelchairs without any difficulty. Collectors from Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville, Burnsville and Inver Grove Heights all have short drives.
The show is a good fit for set builders, player collectors and anyone who prefers a room where you can actually talk to the dealer. The scale means no shouting over crowds and no waiting three deep to ask about a card. It is also a natural family show given the venue's regular business, with enough dollar-box and bargain-bin material to keep young collectors busy without a parent spending much.
Get the most out of six hours by moving efficiently. Walk the whole floor first, note who has what, then circle back and negotiate. Bundling several cards from a single dealer almost always beats buying them individually. Bring cash, a want list and supplies for raw purchases. If you are selling, arrive sorted and with a number in mind, because several dealers here buy and the conversation goes better when you are organized.
