About The Shop

Paul Milazzo's sports card shop inside the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Melbourne, stocked with vintage singles, hobby boxes and free walk-up appraisals.

Casebusters occupies an unusual address for a card shop: the clubhouse of the USSSA Space Coast Complex off Stadium Parkway, surrounded by ballfields. The location is not an accident. Owner Paul Milazzo has been dealing since 1999, and putting the shop where hundreds of youth baseball and softball families pass through every tournament weekend means the front door sees a steady mix of first-time buyers and people who have been at this for forty years.

Inside, the layout favors browsing. Singles are filed by team so you can work a set without asking, and the sealed hobby product is shelved rather than buried. The vintage stock is the draw for a certain kind of visitor — a longtime collector who began buying baseball cards in the early 1970s wrote that Casebusters is "one of the finest local sports trading cards store that I have ever walked into in my life," and specifically credited Paul with letting him take his time going through the collection rather than hovering. That is the house style. Nobody rushes you out.

The shop trades in all four major sports plus graded material, and Pokemon product has been added to the mix. Free informal appraisals are part of the service; if you have inherited a box of cards and have no idea what is in it, this is a reasonable place to start rather than guessing on eBay. Buying, selling and trading happen daily, and Paul is direct about what he will and will not pay, which regulars tend to appreciate.

One thing worth knowing before you drive out: Casebusters has moved. Several directories still list older Barton Boulevard addresses in Rockledge. The current storefront is the Stadium Parkway location, and the shop confirmed the move on its own channels. Hours are 10am to 7pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 5pm Saturday, closed Sunday. If a tournament is running at the complex the parking lot fills early and the shop gets busy between games — a weekday morning is the better bet for a long browse. This is a Melbourne card shop that rewards the visit if you actually want to dig.

One of the finest Local Sports Trading Cards Store that I have ever walked into in my Life! Began collecting Baseball Cards in the early 1970's and have plenty of experience of walking into numerous Sports Trading Cards Stores across the United States of America.
