Justin Gorka built the Poke Barn around a single premise: be the Pokemon store, not a card shop that happens to stock Pokemon. Every case, every wall and every shelf on Rail Head Boulevard is dedicated to one property — sealed booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins and bundles on one side, singles running from base-set vintage to the current release on the other, and graded slabs in the display cases between them. Plush, toys and an expanding apparel line fill the rest.

The pricing philosophy is the reason the shop sits at a 4.9 across more than two hundred reviews. Gorka prices off market rather than off scarcity, and he negotiates — reviewers repeatedly describe leaving with free cards for their kids, unprompted discounts, and a sense that the deal was better than they came in expecting. For a category where scalper pricing has become the norm, that reputation travels; the shop draws visitors from out of state.

Grading is handled in-house as a service, which is unusual for a shop this size and useful if you are sitting on something worth slabbing but do not want to navigate submission yourself. A loyalty program rewards repeat business, and events and tournaments run periodically, announced on Instagram rather than a fixed calendar.

The schedule is built for early risers. Weekdays open at 9AM and run to 7PM — the earliest opening of any Naples card shop — Saturday is a short 11AM to 3PM window, and Sunday is closed. On busy days the small team of about five moves well over a hundred customers through the door, so a weekday morning is the calmest time to browse the cases properly.

The storefront sits in an industrial flex strip off Rail Head Boulevard in North Naples, alongside the owner's other business. The layout is deliberately kid-friendly, with the lower cases stocked for younger collectors and staff who will explain a set to a nine-year-old without condescension.
