Titan Games

Champaign's TCG event hub on South Neil — Pokemon and Magic singles by day, Commander League and packed tournament nights running past 9PM.

If your hobby runs on a calendar, Titan Games is the Champaign card shop to bookmark. The South Neil Street store schedules events nearly every week — Commander League, board game nights, and regular Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon tournament play — and its late hours are built around players: open until 10PM Monday through Thursday, 11PM on Friday, and 9PM on weekends. Note the afternoon start, though; weekday doors don't open until 1PM.

The sales floor covers Pokemon cards in Champaign as well as Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and other TCG lines, with singles, sealed product, and accessories alongside a deep board game wall. The space is well organized and kept clean, which matters more than it sounds when tournament nights fill the play area — there's real room to sit down and shuffle up rather than a couple of folding tables wedged between shelves.

Titan operates multiple Central Illinois locations, but the Champaign store has become the University of Illinois crowd's default game night venue, and the staff reflect it: reviewers consistently call out how accommodating the crew is with rules questions, deck advice, and getting new players into their first league night. A 4.7 rating across 280 Google reviews is hard to sustain in a store category where opinions run hot.

Practical notes for a first visit: the shop sits at 723 S Neil St #104, a short hop from campus with parking out front. Friday evenings are the busiest window thanks to weekly Magic play, so come earlier in the afternoon if you want counter time for singles or a sell/trade conversation. Check the store's event calendar before you go — entry for league nights and drafts fills up.
