Weis Plaza storefront off Route 15 dealing strictly in baseball, football and basketball cards and memorabilia — six-day hours and a short Sunday.
PrimeTime Sports Collectibles sits in the Weis Plaza at Prospect Boulevard, just off Route 15 on Frederick's north side, and it makes no attempt to be a general hobby store. There are no board game tables, no Magic drafts, and no RPG shelf. What you get instead is a straight sports card and memorabilia shop of the kind that has become genuinely scarce.
The focus is baseball, football, and basketball across both modern and older product. Sealed boxes and packs share space with sorted raw singles, graded cards in the case, and signed memorabilia. If you collect a specific player or are chasing an older set, this is the kind of shop where asking the owner directly gets a better result than browsing — inventory that isn't out front frequently exists in the back.
Owner Bruce Fuselier runs the counter, so buying and selling is a direct conversation rather than a policy applied by staff. Reviews are mixed on offers, with some longtime collectors happy and others feeling the buy numbers ran low, so it's worth knowing your comps before you bring a collection in — sensible practice at any shop, but especially where negotiation is one-on-one.
Hours cover most of the week: 10am to 6:30pm Monday through Saturday, then a shorter 11am to 4pm on Sunday. The evening close at 6:30 gives you a bit more after-work runway than most sports card shops in the area.
The Weis Plaza location means shared lot parking and a grocery run on the same trip. For sports cards Frederick collectors want to see in person rather than on a screen, this remains the dedicated option in town.
