The DugoutZone

Celebrating over 34 years in business, The DugoutZone is Howard County's premier sports card, memorabilia, and hobby supply store. Since 1991, this legendary shop has built an unparalleled reputation for authentic autographs, vintage memorabilia, and collectible card games.

The DugoutZone is the kind of shop that collectors dream about — a true institution that has been continuously operating since 1991, making it one of the longest-running card and memorabilia shops in all of Maryland. Located at 9011 Chevrolet Drive, Suite 14 in Ellicott City, this Howard County landmark has served multiple generations of collectors with the same passion and expertise that made it great from day one.

The store's inventory is nothing short of spectacular. You'll find trading cards spanning nearly every sport and era, from mid-century Topps baseball to the latest high-end Panini and Topps releases. The autograph and memorabilia section is a particular standout — The DugoutZone has cultivated relationships with top authentication services like James Spence Authentication (JSA) and regularly hosts in-store signing appearances by prominent sports legends. Orioles fans especially treasure the shop's connections to Baltimore baseball royalty, with signed memorabilia from players like Boog Powell and Brooks Robinson available.

Collectible card games are well represented too, with a solid selection of Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and other TCG products available alongside the sports card inventory. Hobby supply collectors can find top-quality protective sleeves, cases, and display options throughout the store.

The DugoutZone is known for its community-focused events, including popular Pack Wars nights held the first Saturday of each month, in-store authentication signings with JSA, and live charity auctions held at local venues. These events draw collectors from across the Baltimore-Washington corridor and have helped cement the shop's status as a true hobby hub.

With 34-plus years of operation, the staff at The DugoutZone possesses encyclopedic knowledge of the hobby — they've literally watched the industry evolve through every boom and bust cycle. Whether you're a serious investor hunting specific graded cards or a casual fan looking for a birthday gift, the team here delivers personalized service that big-box retailers simply cannot match. This is what a great card shop looks like.
