Family-run Boulder Highway shop in Henderson stacking Pokemon and Magic singles next to vintage sports wax, with open game tables for weekend tournaments.
Run by a dad and his four sons, this Boulder Highway storefront packs a remarkable amount into one room: glass cases of sports slabs, deep boxes of Pokemon and Magic singles, comic long-boxes, Funko shelves, and a back area of game tables that fill up on tournament nights. It has grown into one of the most welcoming spots on the south end of the valley for buying, selling, and trading.
The sports side is the heart of the place. Collectors dig through binders of baseball and basketball singles, crack hobby boxes at the counter, and bring in stacks to sell against the day's buylist. Modern Pokemon sits right alongside, so a parent can grab a booster bundle for a kid while flipping through vintage Topps a few feet away. The mix of new product and older cardboard is what keeps regulars coming back to this Henderson card shop.
Gaming is the other engine. The tables host Magic, Pokemon, and other TCG events through the week, and the owners are quick to teach newcomers a first game rather than rush a sale. Special orders are routine, and the staff will track down a specific comic or sealed product if it is not already on the shelf.
Hours run long: 11am to 8pm Monday through Thursday and Sunday, stretching to 10pm on Friday and Saturday for late play. Weekday afternoons are the calmest if you want time to browse the cases; weekend evenings are the move if you want company and competition. Easy parking and a wheelchair-accessible floor round out a genuinely community-first stop.
