Cloud Cap Games

Portland's coziest game shop in the heart of Sellwood. Independently owned with an incredible board game selection, puzzles, weekly game nights, D&D camps, and personal recommendations.

Cloud Cap Games is Portland's coziest and most welcoming game shop, nestled in the heart of the Sellwood neighborhood. Independently owned and operated by Ty and Alex, the shop carries an incredible selection of board games, card games, and puzzles in a warm, inviting space that feels like visiting a friend's living room. What Cloud Cap lacks in square footage compared to the mega-stores, it makes up for in curation and personal service — staff provide genuinely thoughtful game recommendations tailored to your group size, interests, and experience level. Weekly game nights draw a friendly, inclusive crowd, and D&D camps offer younger players a guided introduction to tabletop RPGs. The second-hand shelf is a beloved feature where customers can find hidden gems at bargain prices. With fair pricing, transparent return policies, and a 4.9-star rating, Cloud Cap is the game shop Portland locals recommend first. Wednesday late nights (until 11PM) are perfect for post-work gaming sessions.
