A Dynasty box is 1 pack of 1 card, sealed in a one-touch magnetic holder inside a heavy black box. The card is a Dynasty Autograph Patch, a Dynasty Autograph Relic (batting glove, bat knob or alternate material) or a cut signature, and every card is numbered to 10 or less with Gold parallels 1/1. Topps listed the 2025 box at $1,499.99 through EQL. On the secondary market, as of August 2026, 2025 boxes trade at $2,700-$4,000, a large markup that reflects how little product Topps makes and how much of it breakers absorb. 2024 boxes run $2,200-$3,200 and 2023 boxes $1,800-$2,600.

Dynasty prices are driven by star content more than by rookie class, because a rookie's Dynasty patch auto is still one of ten and the same box could just as easily hold an Ohtani. That said, 2024 has the deepest rookie autograph checklist (Skenes, Holliday, Yamamoto) and has appreciated the most from launch. The 2025 box's premium over MSRP comes from its large Ohtani, Judge, Witt and Trout checklists and the addition of cut signatures, not from its rookies. Older boxes drift down slowly because there is always another year's Ohtani patch coming.
Chase cards, parallels and hit rates
The Dynasty Autograph Patch is the whole product: an on-card signature next to a jumbo multi-color patch, with player-specific variations (the 2025 checklist ran to 617 unique cards, many of them the same star with different patch designations). Jumbo Patch versions carry a larger swatch, Batting Glove and alternate-material relics swap the jersey for other gear, and Special Event cards use patches from a specific game. Dual and Triple Autograph Patches pair players, and cut signatures cover deceased legends. Most Dynasty patch autos of good players (a Freeman, a Ramirez, a Carroll /10) sell for $200-$600, so the median box loses most of its cost, and the box price is supported by Ohtani and Judge patch autos that sell in the thousands and by the one-of-ones. The one thing Dynasty has in its favor as a sealed hold is scarcity: Topps makes very little of it, cases are five boxes, and sealed 2021-2024 product has held or gained. If you buy it, buy it to open it or to hold long-term as a scarce sealed item, not on expected value.
How to spot fakes and resealed boxes
Dynasty boxes are heavy, hinged black boxes in clear Topps shrink with a printed seal, holding one magnetic case in foam. Because a box is one card in a standard one-touch holder, the resealing scam is straightforward: open the box, swap in a cheaper Dynasty card from the same year, re-shrink. Insist on photos of the factory seal, look for a second shrink seam or heat marks at the corners, and be suspicious of any "sealed" box priced under the going market. Boxes bought through Topps EQL come with an order record, so ask a private seller for it. Buy from shops and dealers who bought cases direct.
