Hobby Box
The Tribute hobby box is 6 packs of 3 cards, 18 cards total, with three autographs and three relic cards guaranteed; the remaining twelve cards are base and numbered base parallels. Topps sold the 2026 box direct at roughly $800-$1,000 on presale and dealers listed it around $1,125 at release. As of August 2026 the 2026 box trades at $950-$1,150, while 2025 boxes have settled at $700-$900 and 2024 boxes at $750-$900. Because each pack has a hit in half of them, Tribute is one of the few high-end products that shops can sell by the pack.
Hobby Pack
Topps and some shops sell Tribute in single packs, priced around $200 for 2026. A pack contains 3 cards and no guaranteed hit, so the pack format is a gamble; a box guarantees the six hits, a pack does not guarantee any.
Hobby Case
A Tribute case is only 4 hobby boxes. Distributor asking for a 2026 case was about $4,500, and a case is the level at which the Pillars of the Game and dual autographs are seeded. Cases from 2024 and 2025 trade at $3,000-$3,800.

The 2024 box is the strongest recent hold because Skenes and Yamamoto both have on-card Tribute Autographs in it, and singles of the Yamamoto auto have sold into the low four figures. The 2022 box (Rodriguez, Witt) is the value buy among the strong years. The 2026 box is the most expensive at launch in the line's history and the Bonds continuity subset drew attention, but at $1,000 it needs the Anthony and Misiorowski autographs to keep selling for the box to hold.
Chase cards, parallels and hit rates
Tribute Autographs, the flagship on-card set of about 100 cards, are numbered to 199 or less with Blue, Green, Purple, Gold, Orange, Pink, Red and one-of-one Black parallels; the base set uses the same color ladder from Blue /150 down to Black 1/1. Crest Calligraphy features on-card signatures over team crests, Pillars of the Game covers legends, and League Inauguration Autographs is the rookie set. Dual autograph sets (Calling the Shot, Tribute Tandem) and Prime Patch autograph relics are the case hits. On the relic side, Stamp of Approval, Tributaries, Dual Relics and Milestone Relics fill the three relic slots, and Tribute to Threads combines a signature with a jumbo swatch.
Three of the six guaranteed hits are relics, and in an average box at least one autograph will be a lesser name. The true tail is a Judge, Ohtani, Yamamoto or top rookie Tribute Autograph in a low-numbered color, or a dual autograph, which fall at roughly one per case.
Is Topps Tribute worth buying sealed?
At $1,000 for a 2026 box the expected return is well below cost; three relics of mid-tier players resell for $15-$40 each and two of the three autos are usually in the $30-$100 range. The box is carried by the third autograph. Tribute has been overproduced relative to demand in some years (2019-2021 boxes fell below MSRP for a while), and the small 4-box case means breakers open a lot of product, which keeps singles supply high. Sealed boxes from 2022 and 2024 have held or gained; the rest have drifted. Buy Tribute if you want a six-hit break with a chance at a big on-card auto, not as a passive investment.
How to spot fakes and resealed boxes
Tribute ships in a heavy black box with clear Topps-branded shrink and a printed tamper seal, and each of the six packs is individually foil-wrapped. The pack format creates a specific risk: because packs are sold loose, a "sealed box" can be rebuilt from loose packs after the thick hit packs have been pulled and re-wrapped. Watch for shrink that is looser than factory, a missing or generic seal, and packs that look creased or unevenly stacked when the seller shows the interior. When buying single packs, buy from the box in front of you at a shop rather than from loose packs online.
