Marvel Super Heroes was Magic's big crossover of summer 2026, released on June 26, and the collector booster display is where its most expensive cards live. A display is 12 packs. Each one has 15 cards, an art card or foil token, and a chance at treatments that only collector boosters carry, up to a serialized Mind Stone. This page explains the box, the chase and what displays cost three months on. The whole set is in our Marvel Super Heroes guide.

Collector boosters are not draft packs. They are built for opening and collecting, with a higher share of foils, extended-art and borderless cards than a play booster, and with treatments no other product carries.
The main set is 296 cards, and with alternate art and Booster Fun treatments the numbered run reaches 384. A separate Marvel Universe Source Material bonus sheet adds 100 reprints in Marvel styling, 60 of which can appear in play and collector boosters. Many of those use classic comic-book cover art. They are among the cards Marvel collectors who don't play Magic chase, which widens the buying market for this set beyond Magic players.
Every pack carries borderless cards, and premium foils such as the Cosmic Foil treatment give the box its upper end.
The card the market talks about is the Mind Stone in a textless Cosmic Foil treatment, serialized to about 150 copies and found only in collector boosters, in any language. A serialized card of a famous Marvel object sits at the top of what a single pack can produce, and it is a big reason displays hold their price. Below it are the Headliner mythic in under 1% of boosters, the extended-art versions exclusive to collector boosters, and the foil Source Material cards.
For most boxes the realistic outcome is a stack of foils and extended-art rares, some playable in Commander, plus several Source Material reprints. Whether that adds up to the box price depends on which Marvel characters are popular with Commander players.
| Listing type | Asking range |
|---|---|
| Collector Booster Display, English, factory sealed | $550-$670 |
| All listings including German stock and "New" condition | $437.69-$670 |
The cheapest listing is German-language stock, and two others list the condition as "New" rather than "Factory Sealed". The language matters to collectors, and only the serialized Mind Stone is said to appear in any language. For an English display, read the range from about $550.
Marvel Super Heroes is part of Universes Beyond, Wizards of the Coast's line of sets built on outside properties and playable in Magic like any other set. It is not Magic's first Marvel set: Marvel's Spider-Man came first, in 2025. Super Heroes widens the roster to the broader Marvel universe, with Infinity Stones such as the Mind Stone as some of its marquee cards.
That crossover matters for the box. Two groups buy it: Magic players, who value cards by how well they play, and Marvel fans, who value them by character and art. A display opens into both markets, which tends to support prices for the iconic characters even when they are weak in play.
If you do open a display, sort as you go: sleeve the foils and every Source Material and extended-art card straight away, because collector-booster foils curl and scuff easily. Check each pack's rare slots against a current price list before trading anything away, since crossover cards can be worth far more to Marvel collectors than their play value suggests. Then keep the empty display box. A complete set of packaging adds a little to a collection, and it costs nothing to keep.
Buying the display at $550 or more means paying about $46 or more per pack. That only makes sense for a collector who enjoys opening, or who is chasing the serialized card. A player after particular cards should buy them as singles: collector boosters spread value thinly across many cards, and most boxes open for less than they cost. Holding a display sealed rests on the crossover's appeal outside Magic. Wizards has published no print-run figures, so supply is a guess.
Game stores sell collector displays and often let you open packs in store. Search for a Magic store near you. Check the language and the factory wrap before buying online:
