Booster Box
The 36-pack booster box was $144 at retail and now sells for $3,800-$4,900, with several August 2026 sales between $4,200 and $4,900 and a floor around $3,600 for boxes with light shelf wear. Sales volume is high for a product at this price, roughly one a day, so comparable sales are easy to find and the market is more transparent than for thinly traded sets. Boxes in acrylic cases and with pristine shrink take the top of the range.
Elite Trainer Box
The Cosmic Eclipse ETB includes eight booster packs, Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX box art, 65 sleeves, dice, markers, energy cards and a guide, at $39.99 MSRP. Sealed ETBs traded between $1,200 and $2,000 over the summer of 2026, with a typical clean box around $1,450-$1,650. The ETB art is popular, which keeps this product liquid, but it is also the product most often resealed.
Blisters
Three-pack blisters shipped with a promo and a coin and now sell for $380-$480 sealed. Single-pack checklane blisters trade at $115-$150, roughly in line with loose packs at $100-$135 each. Blisters remain the cleanest way to hold one or two sealed Cosmic Eclipse packs.
Build & Battle Box
The prerelease Build & Battle Box holds four Cosmic Eclipse packs, a 23-card evolution pack with one of four stamped promos and a code card, originally $19.99. Sealed kits currently sell for $480-$620. As with other Sun & Moon kits, many were handed out without shrink at events, so confirm the outer wrap before paying full price.
Theme Decks, Collector's Album and Mini Packs

Reshiram & Zekrom-GX and Solgaleo & Lunala-GX full arts sit in the $60-$140 range, and Mega Lopunny & Jigglypuff-GX full art around $80-$120. On the Trainer side, the character-art secret rares including N's Resolve and Lillie's Full Force, and the Rosa full art, are all sought after because the art depicts trainers alongside their Pokemon.
A 36-pack box typically yields roughly six to nine GX cards with one to three full arts, alternate arts or rainbows among them. With 35 secret rares in the set, any specific secret is a low-probability pull from a single box, and the alternate-art TAG TEAM cards in particular were reported at rates similar to rainbows. The sheer size of the master set is why single cards from Cosmic Eclipse stay expensive.
Is Cosmic Eclipse worth buying sealed?
Cosmic Eclipse is second only to Team Up among Sun & Moon main-set boxes, and its price is supported by real trading volume rather than a few outlier sales. The set combines a Charizard TAG TEAM, the last GX cards before the switch to V cards, and a secret rare list that collectors are still completing. Boxes roughly doubled from 2022 to 2025 and have kept climbing in 2026. The risk is that a lot of buyers at $4,500 are counting on continued appreciation, and a broader cooling in sealed demand would hit boxes at this level first. If you want exposure with better downside protection, the ETB or Build & Battle Box gives the same scarcity story at a lower ticket.
How to spot fakes and resealed products
Cosmic Eclipse boxes use the same late-2019 factory shrink as Unified Minds: clear, tight, single side seam, small vent holes, no printing on the wrap. Look for a seam that runs straight and lies flat; a rewrap often shows two seams or an uneven overlap at the ends. The lot code is printed on the bottom panel and should match the 2019 production format. Pack art inside the box rotates Charizard & Braixen, Arceus & Dialga & Palkia, Reshiram & Zekrom and Solgaleo & Lunala; each pack contains a code card and should weigh consistently. Because the ETB's eight packs are worth far less than the sealed ETB, resealed ETBs are common; the shrink on a genuine ETB is tight to the box art with a single seam on the back and tiny vent holes. Ask for photos of the seam, the lot code and all corners, and be wary of stock-photo listings at this price.
