The 36-pack booster box shows Mega Rayquaza and shipped at roughly $144 MSRP. Sealed boxes are selling at $3,700–$5,000 in August 2026, with roughly three sales a week across eBay and auction houses and a recent Heritage Auctions result above $5,000. That is a relatively liquid market for a decade-old box, which reflects how many collectors want Rayquaza and Shaymin in the same product.
Elite Trainer Box
The Roaring Skies ETB (Mega Rayquaza art) included eight booster packs, sleeves, dice, a coin, energy cards and the storage box. It is far scarcer than the booster box because ETBs were opened by casual buyers rather than stored by dealers. Sealed sales over the past year have ranged from about $3,250 to well above $10,000 for a pristine example in an acrylic case, so a fair working range is $4,000–$8,000 with condition of the wrap driving the spread. No price tracker has enough data for a tight figure.
Booster Packs and Blisters
Ungraded sealed packs trade at $55–$100 depending on pack art (Rayquaza, Latios, Gallade or Deoxys), with the Rayquaza art typically on top. Shaymin EX full art (106/108) was a $100-plus card during its tournament life; it has settled to $25–$80 raw but remains the card most people associate with the set. Is XY Roaring Skies worth buying sealed?

How to spot fakes and resealed products
Genuine 2015 XY boxes carry a thin, slightly matte shrink wrap with a single vertical back seam and small pin-sized vent holes; the wrap should hug the corners without excess. Rewrapped boxes tend to show a thicker, glossier film, a seam in the wrong place, or heat-gun ripples. If the lid can be opened without breaking the wrap (some 2015 boxes were wrapped loosely enough), check that the packs sit in four rows of nine with uniform crimps, that no pack looks puffier or flatter than its neighbors, and that the inner tray is unmarked. For the ETB, look for the original Pokémon-branded wrap and an untampered inner tray; ETBs are easier to reseal than boxes and command a bigger premium, which makes them the more common target. Packs offered as "unweighed" from a broken box should be priced as if they were weighed.
