Weiss Schwarz, Flesh and Blood and Riftbound get real shelf space at Zenith Gaming, a family-run Abilene shop with 22 tournament seats off North 1st.
Zenith Gaming occupies Suite 8 inside the courtyard at Leggett Plaza on North 1st Street, and it is the Abilene shop for players whose game is not one of the big three. The family that runs it describes the operation as a small shop built to augment the local TCG community, and the way it does that is by supporting the formats nobody else in town stocks.
Weiss Schwarz is the clearest example — the shelves carry Konosuba, Frieren, Makeine and Fujimi Fantasia Bunko sets, which is genuinely unusual inventory for West Texas and makes this the place to go for Japanese cards in Abilene. Flesh and Blood is a real program here too, with the shop listed on the official fabtcg store locator. Beyond those: Riftbound, Magic: The Gathering, Final Fantasy TCG, Gundam, Ultraman, the Godzilla Card Game, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Digimon, plus sleeves, deck boxes, playmats and dice.
The play space recently expanded to 22 permanent tournament seats, and the nights are themed rather than open-ended. Wednesday is Riftbound and Gundam. Friday is Magic and Soul Masters, with MTG events running around $7.50 entry and capped near 14 players. Saturday stacks Flesh and Blood, Weiss Schwarz and Riftbound. Sunday covers Digimon, Gundam and One Piece. The shop is a Wizards Play Network store and also sells singles through a TCGplayer Pro storefront for anyone shopping remotely.
The one thing to get right before driving over: Zenith is closed more days than it is open. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday the lights are off. Wednesday runs 5PM to 9PM, Friday 5PM to 10PM, Saturday 3PM to 10PM, and Sunday 3PM to 9PM. Saturday is the longest and busiest window.
