Longtime Denton collectors knew this storefront as Madness Comics; today it operates as Grumpy's Comics, a family-owned shop on East University Drive that kept the game-store DNA intact through the name change. The card wall covers Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Flesh and Blood — the shop is a Wizards of the Coast event location — and the weekly tournament calendar for Magic and Flesh and Blood gives Denton players a reliable alternative to driving into the Dallas metroplex for organized play.
