Dragons HQ

Far north Fort Worth hangout in Westport Parkway keeping trading card and tabletop players fed with late hours, open until 11PM Friday and Saturday.

Dragons HQ sits in a Westport Parkway suite out in the far-north corner of the city, close to Alliance, and it plays the role of a neighborhood clubhouse for card players who live up that way. Its roughly 4.9-star Google rating across more than 200 reviews tells you the regulars are happy, but the more practical detail for anyone planning a trip is the schedule: the doors stay open until 10PM on weeknights and 11PM on Friday and Saturday.

That late close matters if you are hunting for a Fort Worth card shop that does not shut the minute the workday ends. Players coming off a shift can still make it for an evening game session, and the long Friday and Saturday window leaves room for tournament-style play without anyone watching the clock. Sunday is the shortest day, noon to 9PM, which suits a relaxed afternoon of trading and browsing.

The shop is tagged here for Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh and singles because that is the core of what a tabletop-focused store like this lives on. Singles let you finish a deck without cracking sealed product, and sealed boxes and booster packs cover the opening-day crowd. Expect the usual accessories too, since sleeves, deck boxes and binders are what every table-side player ends up needing mid-session.

If you are driving in, the address is 2421 Westport Pkwy, Suite 1200, in the 76177 ZIP. Weeknights after dinner are the natural time to drop by when you want a quieter look through the cases, while Friday and Saturday evenings are the better bet if you want company at the tables. Because event schedules change, check the shop's website or call (817) 776-4966 before you plan around a specific tournament or release-day event.

Anyone shopping for trading cards in Fort Worth's northern growth corridor, instead of making the trek to the Camp Bowie side of town, will find Dragons HQ a convenient stop with hours that fit around real work schedules.
