Thirty thousand square feet is a lot of gaming, and Game Guys uses all of it. The family-owned shop has anchored Almeda Mall in southeast Houston since growing from a 2005 console-repair operation into one of the largest TCG and pop-culture destinations in Texas - part card shop, part esports center, part Funko museum, with a repair counter still fixing Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox hardware in the back.

The trading card operation holds down its own storefront space stocked with Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Dragon Ball, and Magic product - sealed boxes, blasters, and singles cases - alongside shelf after shelf of anime figures and what the shop credibly claims is the biggest Funko Pop selection in Houston. Inventory moves fast on hot releases, so calling ahead on chase product is smart.

Tournaments run weekly and skew genuinely competitive: Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece card events share the calendar with Call of Duty, Fortnite, and League of Legends brackets on the esports side, and the shop rents its space for birthday parties that mix pack rips with console time. It is one of the few places in the city where a card player and a fighting-game player can both find a Saturday event under the same roof.
