Sports wax, autographed jerseys and Pokemon sealed share the racks with 90s vintage streetwear at this Crossroads Center shop behind CiCi's Pizza.
Opened in March 2023 by Kellen Ayers, Cards & Culture is the closest thing Wichita Falls has to a dedicated sports card shop — and it arrived with a twist. Card cases and hobby boxes sit alongside racks of 1990s vintage apparel, Supreme and AntiSocial streetwear, and a wall of high-end sneakers. The pairing sounds odd on paper and works in person, because the two collector crowds overlap more than either would admit.
On the card side the focus is modern and vintage sports across baseball, football and basketball, plus Pokemon sealed wax and singles. Autographed jerseys and sports memorabilia round out the display cases. The shop buys, sells and trades, and the recurring theme in customer feedback is that the pricing errs generous — one reviewer said outright that the shop's buy prices felt low against what the cards were worth to the store, meaning good news for the seller.
The standout program is the monthly card show. Cards & Culture brings in outside vendors and turns the space into a small convention, and collectors describe it as the best chance in town to talk shop with other people who actually collect. The day and time are announced on the shop's Facebook and Instagram rather than a fixed calendar, so check before driving over.
Hours are compact: Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 6PM, closed Sunday and Monday. That is a narrow window compared to the game lounges, and it is worth building your visit around because there is no late option here.
The storefront is in Crossroads Center on Southwest Parkway, tucked behind CiCi's Pizza and sharing a strip with Galaxy Books & Comics next door — which makes it easy to hit both in one trip. Parking is directly out front.
