Sports-first Kennewick hobby shop with hobby boxes, budget boxes, junk-wax bargains, graded slabs and signed memorabilia, plus a side of Pokemon singles.
On The Marq Sports Cards is the Tri-Cities stop for collectors whose binders lean toward baseball, football and basketball. The shop sits in a small retail center on West Gage Boulevard in southwest Kennewick, and its cases cover just about every price point in the sports hobby.
At the top end you'll find graded slabs and autographed memorabilia. In the middle are current-release hobby and retail boxes for the major sports. At the bottom, and arguably the most fun, are budget boxes and stacks of junk-wax era cards from the late '80s and early '90s, a cheap way to get kids into the hobby or fill out old sets. For anyone looking for a Kennewick card shop that still treats sports cards as the main business rather than a sideline, this is it.
Pokemon has a place here too, with singles and sealed product on hand for collectors who split their time between the two hobbies. Pricing is a big part of the shop's local reputation: regulars consistently point to fair, market-aware prices on both sealed product and singles, and the staff will talk through card values and current releases.
Hours are Monday through Friday 10AM-6PM, Saturday 11AM-6PM and Sunday 11AM-4PM. The shop doesn't run a website, so call ahead at 509-783-9263 if you're hunting a specific player, set or slab, or want to ask about selling a collection. Parking is right out front, and mornings during the week are usually the quietest time to browse. New-release days bring more traffic, so arrive early if you want first crack at fresh hobby boxes or need help pricing a stack of older cards.
