Ron Mann started the business in the old Yakima Mall more than three decades ago and moved it to 6 N 3rd Street downtown, where it has become the kind of shop that takes an hour to walk through properly. Coins and precious metals remain the backbone, but the card and comic inventory is substantial enough that Ron's functions as a full Yakima card shop in its own right.

The sports card section is the main draw for collectors. Ron's is the only store inside city limits with a meaningful stock of vintage Topps, Fleer and Donruss alongside memorabilia, and it buys collections outright, which is why estate finds tend to surface here first.
