There's a particular kind of local game store that refuses to play the scarcity game, and Lucky Dice Games on the south end of Memorial Parkway is one of them. Customers repeatedly describe being helped to secure a Pokemon Elite Trainer Box at normal pricing during a hyped release window — the sort of thing that builds a customer base faster than any advertising.

The game coverage is unusually broad for the shop's size: Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, Union Arena and Riftbound all have singles and sealed presence. Beyond cards, the store has quietly become one of the largest HeroClix suppliers in the region, and Gundam model kits occupy a real section rather than an endcap. Space is used deliberately — the main floor is tight but organized, and a secondary play area carries the event load.

Hours are long but irregular, so check before you go: 10AM to 10PM Monday through Wednesday and Friday, a shorter 10AM to 6PM on Thursday, 10:30AM to 10PM Saturday, and a narrow 1:30PM to 5:30PM window on Sunday. That Sunday slot is easy to miss.

The shop is at the far south end of Memorial Parkway near the Jones Valley side of town, with parking directly in front. It's a fifteen-minute drive from downtown and worth pairing with a stop at one of the parkway's other card shops.
