🃏 About This Event

The Collectibles Expo returns to San Jose on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at the historic Scottish Rite Center, bringing its traveling cards-toys-TCG-comics marketplace to the South Bay for a one-day show. The Collectibles Expo runs shows up and down California, from Redding to Lancaster, and the San Jose stop is one of the most consistently well-attended dates on the tour because it pulls vendors from the entire Bay Area and the northern Central Valley into a single room.

What sets this expo apart from a pure card show is the breadth. Yes, the trading card presence is strong: Pokemon singles, sealed product, and graded slabs, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z. Sports card vendors bring MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL inventory across every price tier, from bargain bins and vintage commons to PSA and SGC graded rookies and star autographs. But the room also fills out with vintage toys, action figures, comics, anime merchandise, Funko Pops, sports memorabilia, and handmade arts and crafts, which means you can hunt cards while the rest of your household finds something worth carrying home too.

Doors are open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Six hours is enough time to walk the room several times without feeling rushed, and because it is a one-day Sunday show, vendors tend to sharpen their prices in the final ninety minutes rather than pack unsold inventory back into the truck.

Admission is 10 dollars at the door, and kids under 10 get in free with a paying adult. There is no advance ticketing to worry about; just show up. Note that admission at Collectibles Expo shows is typically cash, so bring bills, which you will want anyway for the vendor floor.

The Scottish Rite Center sits at 2455 Masonic Drive in San Jose, just off Highway 87 and minutes from downtown, with an on-site lot and street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. The building itself is one of San Jose's more distinctive event halls, with high ceilings and good natural light, which makes examining raw cards and surface condition far easier than in a dim hotel ballroom.

This show is ideal for families, casual collectors, and cross-category hunters who like comics and toys alongside cards. Dealers use it as a buying stop too, since walk-in collectors regularly bring collections through the door looking to sell.

A few tips: arrive near open for the best selection, bring cash in small denominations, and carry a written or phone-based want list so you do not lose track while browsing a room that mixes categories. Ask vendors whether they have additional inventory in binders or boxes under the table, because at multi-category shows the best cards are frequently not the ones on display. If you are selling, walk the room first and get two or three offers before accepting one.
