🃏 About This Event

The Collectibles Expo makes its fall return to San Jose on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at the Scottish Rite Center on Masonic Drive, and the timing could not be better for collectors. Late September lands right in the sweet spot of the hobby calendar: football season is underway, baseball playoff races are peaking, the NBA and NHL are about to tip off and drop the puck, and the fall Pokemon set releases have hit shelves. That combination reliably produces one of the busiest vendor floors of the year at this venue.

Expect a full spread of inventory. Sports card tables carry MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL singles and sealed product ranging from cheap bin diving to serious graded material, with strong Bay Area team representation across Giants, A's, 49ers, Warriors, and Sharks cards, plus UFC, boxing, and soccer for collectors chasing something different. Trading card game vendors bring Pokemon in every form, from vintage WOTC-era holos and Japanese exclusives to modern alt arts, sealed booster boxes, and PSA and CGC slabs, alongside Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z. The Collectibles Expo format also makes room for vintage toys, comics, anime collectibles, Funko Pops, memorabilia, and arts and crafts vendors, so the room never feels one-note.

Show hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday. That six-hour window is long enough to shop slowly and come back for a second look at anything you were unsure about, and the final hour is traditionally when negotiating gets easiest.

Admission is 10 dollars at the door with kids under 10 admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. There is no advance ticket requirement. Bring cash for entry, since Collectibles Expo shows generally run cash admission, and cash will serve you well on the floor too.

The Scottish Rite Center at 2455 Masonic Drive is easy to reach from Highway 87, Interstate 280, and downtown San Jose, with parking on site and additional street parking nearby. The hall's open layout and good lighting make it a genuinely pleasant place to inspect cards, and there is no shortage of food options in the surrounding Willow Glen and downtown areas if you want to make a day of it.

This show suits first-timers who want a low-pressure entry into the hobby, families looking for an affordable Sunday activity, casual collectors filling player and set runs, and dealers hunting fresh walk-in collections. It is also a good place to sell, since multiple buyers work the room.

To get the most from the day, arrive at 10:00 AM for first pick, carry cash in a mix of denominations, and bring a want list plus a trade binder. Do a full circuit before spending big, and ask vendors what they have that is not on the table, since many keep their strongest cards in a case or bag behind them. If you plan to sell a collection, organize it beforehand and get multiple offers.
