The Northeast Kansas Card Show opens its 2027 season at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds in Lawrence on Saturday, January 23, 2027. January shows occupy a particular niche in the hobby calendar, and experienced collectors plan around them.
Doors open at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23 and the show runs through the afternoon.
Admission is a small door fee paid on arrival, with no advance ticketing, no VIP tier and no early-entry option.
The Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds sit on the north side of Lawrence with abundant free parking directly outside the building, ground-level entry, on-site restrooms and usually concessions. From the Kansas City metro it is a forty to fifty minute drive on K-10 or I-70 - check road conditions before committing to the trip, since winter weather in eastern Kansas can turn that drive quickly.
