Boca Sports Cards opened its doors in October 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic card boom, after the Boca Breaks group-break operation outgrew its back office. The storefront sits on the south side of Sandalfoot Plaza at US-441 and Marina Boulevard in west Boca Raton, and the breaks still run from the same suite, so a visit often means catching a live football or basketball case being ripped on camera in the next room.

Owner David Davidov is the face of the place. Reviews name him over and over for patience with kids, straight pricing, and a willingness to talk cards for as long as you want. The shop earned PSA Authorized Dealer status and runs group grading submissions, which saves local collectors the hassle of shipping raw cards themselves. Appraisals of inherited collections are handled at current market values rather than lowball offers.

Inventory leans sports. The recently renovated space keeps its glass showcases full, something reviewers point out is not a given at South Florida shops, with NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, and soccer singles all sleeved and priced. Sealed hobby and retail boxes rotate on the back shelves, a vintage case covers the pre-1990 crowd, and sports memorabilia rounds things out. Pokemon cards are stocked, though a few visitors note the TCG selection is thinner than the sports side, so hardcore Pokemon hunters in Boca Raton may want to pair this stop with a TCG-focused store.

Hours are 11AM to 6PM Monday through Friday and 11AM to 5PM Sunday, closed Saturday, an unusual schedule that is worth remembering before a weekend drive.
