Three Stars Sportscards

Three Stars Sportscards is one of Minnesota's most beloved card shops, with three Twin Cities locations in Bloomington, Little Canada, and Minnetonka. Their massive inventory of singles, wax, and graded cards draws collectors from across the metro every single week. If you love digging through boxes of singles, pack a lunch — there's always a jaw-dropping amount to explore.

Three Stars Sportscards has grown to become one of the most recognized names in the Minnesota sports card hobby community, operating three full-service retail locations across the Twin Cities metro. The Bloomington flagship on Lyndale Avenue South is the anchor of the operation, offering an absolutely enormous inventory that keeps both casual collectors and serious enthusiasts coming back week after week. The name itself reflects a love of hockey — that most Minnesota of sports — and the shop carries everything from the hottest modern NHL releases to hard-to-find vintage cardboard.

What sets Three Stars apart is sheer volume. Customers frequently comment on the depth of the single-card bins, where dedicated collectors can spend hours hunting for specific player cards, set fillers, or unexpected bargains. The shop carries cards across all four major sports leagues — MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL — plus a solid selection of trading card games and entertainment cards. Whether you're chasing a specific rookie card, looking for a sealed hobby box of the latest release, or building a player collection from scratch, Three Stars has the inventory to match your goals.

The Bloomington location is the most accessible of the three, situated on the heavily-traveled Lyndale Avenue South corridor near the Mall of America area. The store regularly stocks new releases from Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, and other major manufacturers, and the staff is well-versed in helping customers navigate the hobby — from understanding grading standards to identifying valuable short prints and parallels. PSA dealer status means grading submissions are handled smoothly and professionally.

Beyond the Bloomington store, Three Stars operates additional locations in Little Canada (2682 Rice Street, 651-633-6041) and Minnetonka (4763 County Road 101, 952-255-6614), making it easy for Twin Cities collectors to find a location near them. All stores share the same commitment to wide selection, fair pricing, and knowledgeable service that has made Three Stars a community staple.

The shop also maintains an active online presence and an e-commerce store, allowing collectors outside the metro to access their inventory. Regular customers describe the experience as one of the most authentic in the local card shop scene — lots of product, competitive prices, and staff who clearly love the hobby as much as their customers do.
