Common Ground Collectables

Common Ground in Lincoln specializes in anime and niche TCGs like Weiss Schwarz, Cardfight!! Vanguard and Hololive OCG, with free weekly local play nights.

If your favorite card game rarely shows up on big-box shelves, Common Ground Collectables is the Lincoln store built for you. The shop at 1415 N Cotner Blvd focuses on anime-driven and alternative trading card games that most stores skip, and it backs that inventory with a weekly schedule of free in-store play.

Weiss Schwarz is the anchor. The store stocks booster boxes, trial decks, playsets, singles and pre-built budget decks, which lowers the barrier for anyone curious about the game. Beyond Weiss, the shelves cover Cardfight!! Vanguard, Shadowverse Evolve, Hololive OCG, Palworld and Beyblade X, and the owners also carry mainstream games such as Pokemon. For trading cards in Lincoln outside the usual Magic-and-Pokemon lane, it is the most focused option in the city.

Community is the real draw. Local play runs every week and costs nothing to join: Weiss Schwarz on Tuesdays at 6pm, Shadowverse Evolve on Wednesdays at 6pm, Hololive OCG on Fridays at 6pm and Cardfight!! Vanguard on Sundays at 4pm. Staff are happy to teach new players, so a casual visit can easily turn into your first game. The store also runs a buylist if you have singles to sell, and ships orders from its online shop.

Store hours are 12PM-8PM Monday through Thursday, 12PM-9PM on Friday, 11AM-8PM on Saturday and 12PM-6PM on Sunday. Event nights are the liveliest time to stop by; early afternoons are better for quiet browsing and asking questions about a new game.

Practical tip: the shop shares the 1415 N Cotner Blvd building with other businesses and exterior signage is limited, so give the store a quick call at 402-405-1920 before your first visit if you have trouble finding the entrance. Once inside, bring sleeves for event nights, though deck boxes and sleeves are available through the shop's partner supply site.
