Sealed products for Celebrations
Elite Trainer Box
The Celebrations ETB has ten four-card Celebrations packs, a Greninja Star promo, sleeves, dice and a storage box with the Pikachu 25 logo. MSRP was $49.99. Sealed boxes sold in the $300-$390 range in August 2026, with most eBay results landing near $320-$360. Because the packs are small and the promo is unique to this box, the ETB is the most-traded Celebrations item and the one shops get asked about most.
Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box
The Pokemon Center version has the same packs and promo but different sleeves, dice and a Pokemon Center logo on the box. It trades at a premium, generally $400-$520 sealed. Make sure the listing photo shows the Pokemon Center logo before paying up.
Ultra Premium Collection
The UPC is the flagship. It includes two metal cards (Base Set Charizard and Pikachu), a gold Pikachu V promo, 15 Celebrations packs, 10 additional Sword & Shield era packs, a playmat, deck box, pins and coins. MSRP was $119.99 and it sold out everywhere. Sealed UPCs trade at $1,000-$1,400 as of August 2026. Verify the outer wrap is factory tight and the inner shrink is intact; opened-and-retaped UPCs are common because the metal cards were pulled and sold separately.
Collection boxes and Special Collection Pikachu V-UNION
The two Collection boxes (Lance's Charizard V and Dark Sylveon V) each had four Celebrations packs, two additional packs, a promo and an oversize card at $19.99. They now sell for $110-$160 sealed, with the Charizard box at the top of the range. The Special Collection Pikachu V-UNION ($29.99, four V-UNION cards, four Celebrations packs, one additional pack and a playmat) runs $150-$200.
Deluxe Pin Collections and Prime Collection
The Deluxe Pin Collections (Zacian and Zamazenta, $24.99) held four Celebrations packs, two additional packs and a large pin. Sealed they run $120-$170. The Prime Collection was a Costco exclusive with a Pikachu VMAX promo, Celebrations packs, additional packs and a deck box, and sealed examples trade at $180-$260 depending on the listing.
Premium Figure Collection, Mini Tins and Collector Chest
The Premium Figure Collection (Pikachu VMAX figure, promo, five Celebrations packs, three additional packs, $49.99) sits at $200-$280. Mini tins (two Celebrations packs, one additional pack and a sticker sheet) sell for $45-$65 each, which is the cheapest entry point. The Collector Chest (lunchbox tin with Celebrations packs, additional packs, promos and accessories) runs $130-$180.
Chase cards and pull rates
The Classic Collection subset is what people are opening for. Base Set Charizard 4/102 with the anniversary stamp trades at $150-$250 raw and considerably more in PSA 10. Umbreon Gold Star 17/17, Shining Magikarp 66/64 and Blastoise 2/102 sit in the $50-$120 range, and the remaining Classic Collection cards are $8-$40. From the 25-card main set, Flying Pikachu VMAX 007/025 and the Professor's Research Full Art 024/025 are the most valuable, both under $30.
Every Celebrations pack contains one Classic Collection card or a holo from the main set, so the hit rate is far higher than a standard set. Charizard is the tough one: commonly reported figures put it at roughly one per 90-110 packs, which works out to a few per case of ETBs. Everything else in the subset falls at a much friendlier clip, and a single ETB usually yields three or four Classic Collection cards.
Is Celebrations worth buying sealed?
Celebrations has appreciated more than almost any other 2021 product despite its huge print run. The reason is simple: it is the only anniversary set, the packs are cheap to open, and sealed supply keeps shrinking. At $320 for an ETB you are paying roughly $32 per four-card pack, which is not justified by expected value, so the case for buying is purely as a long-term collectible. Reprint risk is low because the anniversary framing is gone, though the 30th anniversary product in 2026 has drawn some attention away. Buy sealed at a price you can hold, and prefer the ETB and UPC for liquidity.
How to spot fakes and resealed products
Celebrations packs are four cards, so weight differences between hit and non-hit packs are minimal and pack weighing is not the main concern. Resealing is. Real Celebrations packs have straight, even crimps top and bottom with the foil pattern continuing through the crimp; a wavy crimp or a rounded corner is a warning sign. The ETB shrink wrap is thin with a single vertical seam on the back and no adhesive. On the UPC, the inner contents sit in a molded tray and the metal cards ship in a separate sealed sleeve; if a seller cannot photograph the intact inner shrink, assume the box was opened. Counterfeit Classic Collection Charizards exist as singles, so if you buy a "pulled from pack" card, check the anniversary stamp foil, which is clean and sharp on real cards.
