Crown Zenith Sealed Products: Prices, Chase Cards & Where to Buy

Jan 2023SWSH12.5from $1,091.855 sealed products

Crown Zenith is the January 2023 special set that closed out the Sword & Shield era, and its 70-card Galarian Gallery subset is the reason it is the most collected set of the era after Evolving Skies. With no booster box, every Crown Zenith pack came through the ETB, booster bundle, tins, pin collections and the various collection boxes, and those products have appreciated hard since 2024. This page covers every sealed Crown Zenith product with August 2026 prices, the Galarian Gallery chase cards, and how to avoid resealed product.

Sealed products for Crown Zenith

Elite Trainer Box

The Lucario ETB has ten packs, a Lucario promo, sleeves, dice, energy cards and a storage box. MSRP was $49.99. Sealed ETBs sold for $270-$340 in August 2026, with the bulk of eBay sales between $285 and $320 and TCGplayer a little higher. Ten packs is the highest pack count in any Crown Zenith retail product, which keeps this the most-traded item.

Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box

Same ten packs and promo with foil energy and the Pokemon Center logo. Sealed examples trade at $360-$450. The PC version is much rarer on eBay, so comps are thin.

Booster Bundle

Six packs in a small box, originally $26.94. Sealed Crown Zenith bundles run $185-$230 as of August 2026, roughly $32-$38 per pack. That is a higher per-pack cost than the ETB, but it is the cheapest complete sealed retail box for the set and therefore popular with collectors who want one of everything.

Premium Figure Collections

The Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta Premium Figure Collections ($49.99) each had a figure, a promo, an oversize card and five Crown Zenith packs plus additional Sword & Shield packs. Sealed they trade at $200-$260, with Zacian typically a touch above Zamazenta.

Tins and Pin Collections

The Galarian Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres tins held five packs and a promo at $29.99 and now sell for $125-$165 each. The Regieleki and Regidrago Pin Collections ($24.99, four packs, a promo and a pin) trade at $110-$145. The two Collection boxes (Regieleki V and Regidrago V, $19.99, four packs and a promo) sit around $95-$130.

Special Collection Pikachu VMAX and Premium Playmat Collection

The Pikachu VMAX Special Collection ($29.99: Pikachu V, VMAX and oversized promo with four packs) trades at $130-$170. The Premium Playmat Collection ($59.99) came with the Morpeko V-UNION cards, a playmat and packs and now runs $180-$240 sealed. Loose Crown Zenith packs trade at $22-$28 each, the highest per-pack price of any Sword & Shield product.

Chase cards and pull rates

Giratina VSTAR GG69 is the top card at $350-$500 raw and comfortably over $1,000 in PSA 10. Arceus VSTAR GG70 sits at $150-$220, Mewtwo VSTAR GG44 at $120-$180, and Rayquaza VMAX GG46 at $80-$130. Suicune V GG38 and Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR GG67 land in the $50-$90 range, and Radiant Charizard 020/159 is a $25-$45 card that anchors the main set. Beneath the top tier, the remaining Galarian Gallery cards mostly trade between $5 and $40, which is why the subset is so widely collected.

Galarian Gallery cards appear at roughly one per three to four packs, so a ten-pack ETB usually returns two or three. The GG60-GG70 gold and VSTAR tier is much rarer, commonly reported at roughly one per 60-90 packs, so a single ETB is a long shot for Giratina or Arceus.

Is Crown Zenith worth buying sealed?

Crown Zenith has been one of the strongest modern sealed performers. ETBs went from $60 at release to $150 by early 2025 and past $280 by mid-2026. At roughly $30 per pack, the expected value of the packs does not cover the price, but the Galarian Gallery hit rate is friendly enough that opening a box still feels rewarding, which sustains demand from openers as well as investors. Supply is only shrinking and there is no reprint mechanism for a closed-era special set. The risk is a plateau after the sharp 2025-2026 run rather than a crash. If you buy, the ETB has the best liquidity, followed by the tins and bundle.

How to spot fakes and resealed products

Crown Zenith packs are the most weighed and resealed product of the era because the Galarian Gallery hit rate makes weighing profitable. Genuine packs have straight, ridged crimps with the foil pattern running through the crimp and no glue at the edge; a smooth flat crimp band or a pack that feels stiff at the seam is a warning. ETB shrink is clear with a horizontal back seam and vent holes and should be snug at the corners, and the Lucario promo should be visible through the window. Tins have a clear plastic band seal that tears rather than peels; a peeled and re-stuck band means the tin was opened. Booster bundles have glued flaps and no shrink on most runs, so check for glue residue and lifted flaps. Avoid loose packs unless the seller has a long sealed-product history.

Where to buy Crown Zenith sealed

Many shops still have Crown Zenith tins and collection boxes at prices below eBay, so use the card shop directory to find stores near you and call ahead. Card shows are the best place to find ETBs and Premium Figure Collections and check the wrap in person. On eBay, search:

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Crown Zenith booster box?

No. Crown Zenith is a special set and was sold only through the ETB, booster bundle, tins, pin collections, collection boxes and premium collections. Any "Crown Zenith booster box" listing is a repack or a mislabeled bundle.

How much is a Crown Zenith ETB worth in 2026?

Sealed retail ETBs sell for $270-$340 as of August 2026, and Pokemon Center ETBs for $360-$450.

What is the Galarian Gallery?

A 70-card subset (GG01-GG70) of alternate-art and character-art cards found at roughly one per three to four packs. Giratina VSTAR GG69 is the most valuable.

How many packs are in the Crown Zenith ETB?

Ten packs, plus a Lucario promo, sleeves, dice, energy cards and a storage box.

What is the best card in Crown Zenith?

Giratina VSTAR GG69, trading at $350-$500 raw and over $1,000 in PSA 10.

Will Crown Zenith be reprinted?

No reprint has been announced and the Sword & Shield era is closed, so a reprint is very unlikely.
