Sealed products for Shining Fates
Elite Trainer Box
The ETB has ten booster packs, a shiny Eevee promo, Eevee sleeves, dice, markers, energy and a storage box, at a $49.99 MSRP. It was restocked repeatedly through 2021, so supply is healthy. Sealed ETBs sell for $110–$160 as of August 2026, with the bulk of sales around $125–$135. That is roughly a third of what a Hidden Fates ETB costs, which tells you most of what you need to know about relative scarcity.
V Tins
Three tins were released at $24.99, each with a V promo (Cramorant V, Eldegoss V or Boltund V) and six booster packs. They are the cheapest way per pack to open Shining Fates. Sealed tins trade at $45–$75 each, with Cramorant usually at the top. Because the lid is not shrink-wrapped in a way that resists tampering, check the seal carefully before paying tin prices.
Pin Collections and Mad Party Pin Collection
The three Pin Collections (Eevee, Boltund and Cramorant) came with a pin, a promo and three packs at $14.99. Sealed, they run $40–$60. The Mad Party Pin Collection, built around the Mad Party attack cards with four promos (Bunnelby, Dedenne, Galarian Mr. Rime and Polteageist), four pins and four packs, released at $24.99 and sells sealed for $55–$80.
Premium Collections
Two Premium Collections were released at $39.99: Shiny Crobat VMAX and Shiny Dragapult VMAX, each with a shiny V and VMAX promo, an oversized card, a coin and seven packs. Dragapult is the more popular and sells for $100–$130 sealed; Crobat sits at $85–$110. Seven packs plus two shiny promos makes these the best value box in the set for a collector who wants the promos.
Mini Tins and Pikachu V Box
Five Mini Tins (Reshiram, Ditto, Dragapult, Zamazenta and Zacian artwork) each hold two packs, a coin and an art card, originally $9.99. Sealed they trade at $28–$45 each, with full sets of five at $150–$200. The Pikachu V Box, a general-release box that used Shining Fates packs, sells for $50–$65.
Chase cards and pull rates
Shiny Charizard VMAX (SV107/SV122) is the card that sells the set, currently $110–$140 raw and $240–$280 in PSA 10. Shiny Charizard V (SV049) is $40–$55. After Charizard, the Shiny Vault VMAX cards for the Galar starters and Ditto VMAX (SV119) sit in the $20–$45 range, and shiny Eevee (SV043) and shiny Ditto V are the popular baby shinies at $15–$30. Skyla full art (072/072) and Team Yell Towel rainbow are the top Trainer pulls. Amazing Rares also appear in the main set (Reshiram, Zekrom, Yveltal) at $8–$15.
Shiny Vault cards appear in roughly one of every two to three packs, so any product with six or more packs should yield a few. The Charizard VMAX is commonly reported at roughly one per 100 packs or more, which puts it beyond the reach of a single ETB in most cases.
Is Shining Fates worth buying sealed?
Shining Fates sealed has appreciated modestly since 2023 but has never come close to Hidden Fates, and the reason is print run: Hidden Fates was scarce for a year after release, and Shining Fates never was. At $130 for a ten-pack ETB you are paying about $13 a pack, which is reasonable for an out-of-print special set with a Charizard, and the downside is limited because the price has already been stable for years. It is a good collector hold at the current level but should not be expected to run. The Premium Collections and Mini Tins are the better display pieces.
How to spot fakes and resealed products
Shining Fates ETBs use the same holographic Pokemon Company lid seal as other SWSH ETBs; check for a rainbow shimmer and an uncut seal. V Tins are the bigger concern. A factory tin has a clear shrink wrap around the whole tin with a seam on the base and the lid firmly seated; a tin with a wrap that has been reheated, or a wrap with no seam at all, has been redone. Mini Tins are not shrink-wrapped and instead have a single round clear sticker over the lid seam, so an intact, unwrinkled sticker is the only proof of a sealed Mini Tin. Inside any product, packs should carry uniform crimps and a code card each, and pack weights should be consistent.
Where to buy Shining Fates sealed
Shining Fates was stocked by every big-box retailer through 2021, and many independent shops still have ETBs, tins and pin collections on the shelf at prices close to or below eBay.
