Sealed products for Champion's Path
Elite Trainer Box
The Champion's Path ETB has ten booster packs (two more than a main-set ETB), a Charizard V promo (079/073 artwork on a black promo card), Charizard sleeves, dice, markers, energy and a storage box. MSRP was $49.99 and it almost never sold at that price. As of August 2026, sealed ETBs sell between $160 and $230, with the middle of the range around $185–$200. This is the main product for the set and the one most buyers want, but it is also the most commonly resealed, so read the fakes section before paying.
Pin Collections
Three gym-badge Pin Collections were released at $14.99, each with a Galar gym badge pin, a V promo and three packs: Turffield, Hulbury and Motostoke. Sealed, each trades at $65–$95, with Motostoke (the Fire gym tied to Charizard artwork) at the top. Three packs for $80 is an expensive way to open Champion's Path, so these are collector items rather than pack-opening buys.
Special Pin Collections
The two Special Pin Collections, Stow-on-Side and Circhester, released at $29.99 with a larger pin, a V promo and five packs each. Circhester sells for $95–$140 sealed. Stow-on-Side sells higher, with recent sales spread between $150 and $280, because it was produced in smaller numbers and is the one collectors need to complete the pin run. Widen your expectations on that one and check recent solds before buying.
Marnie Premium Tournament Collection
The Premium Collection is Marnie-themed and includes full-art Marnie and Morpeko promos, a deck box, sleeves, dice, condition markers and seven booster packs, at a $39.99 MSRP. Sealed it runs $100–$135 in mid-2026. Players bought most of these for the accessories in 2020, so clean sealed copies are less common than the ETB.
Dubwool V and Hatterene V Collection boxes
Smaller boxes with a V promo, an oversized card and four packs, originally $19.99. Sealed Dubwool V and Hatterene V boxes sell for $50–$70. They are the lowest-cost way to get Champion's Path packs and were widely stocked at big-box stores, so supply is reasonable.
Chase cards and pull rates
The set is Charizard and not much else. Charizard VMAX rainbow rare (074/073) sells for $150–$240 raw and $300–$350 in PSA 10, with the secret rare Charizard V (079/073) close behind at $230–$290 raw because its black-background art is the more popular of the two. The regular Charizard V (020/073) is a $15–$25 card. Gardevoir VMAX rainbow (075/073) and Drednaw VMAX rainbow sit around $20–$40, and the full-art Hatterene V and Alcremie VMAX rainbow are under $20.
Pull rates for the secret-rare Charizards are commonly reported at roughly one per 50 to 60 packs, which means most ETBs do not contain one. Ten packs in an ETB gives you a real chance at a VMAX or full art, but a Charizard VMAX should be treated as a bonus, not an expectation.
Is Champion's Path worth buying sealed?
An ETB at $190 works out to $19 per pack, and the average pack is worth a fraction of that opened. The premium exists because Champion's Path is a small, out-of-print special set with two Charizard secret rares and a box design people like to display. Prices have been fairly flat since 2023 after a big drop from the 2021 peak, which suggests the market has found its level. It is a reasonable long-term hold at the low end of the range but not a set with much upside left from Charizard hype alone. The Pin Collections are for completists.
How to spot fakes and resealed products
Champion's Path ETBs are one of the most resealed products of the era. A factory ETB has a holographic Pokemon Company seal on the top lid that shows a rainbow shimmer when tilted; a flat sticker with no shimmer, a cut seal or a seal with a lifted edge means the box has been opened. The outer shrink wrap on the ETB is loose by design (it is not tight like a booster box), so a loose wrap alone is not a warning sign, but a wrap with a heat-seal line running across the front is. Inside, packs should have even crimps and a code card each. On Pin Collections and Special Pin Collections, the window box should be glued at the factory with no visible tape or adhesive residue along the bottom flap, and the pin should still be attached to its backing card.

Shops that opened in 2020 often bought Champion's Path cases and still have Pin Collections and Dubwool or Hatterene boxes in stock, typically priced below eBay.
