Middle Tennessee Gaming

Middle Tennessee Gaming packs Magic, Pokemon and Warhammer into one Nashville game store with late weekend hours and staff who help build decks.

Middle Tennessee Gaming operates out of a suite on Highway 70 South in West Nashville, and it is built around the idea that a game store should be somewhere you can stay a while. The shop carries a broad range of trading card games alongside tabletop miniatures, and it keeps the lights on late enough that weeknight players and weekend regulars can both get their sessions in.

Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon are the main draws on the card side, with Yu-Gi-Oh! and other trading card games filling out the shelves. Visitors mention that product is available for numerous TCGs, and that staff are happy to help someone put together a first deck or explain upcoming releases. If you are new to Magic, that willingness to walk through the basics is a real advantage over shops that simply ring up the sale.

The miniatures corner is a second pillar. Warhammer players gather here regularly, and the store stocks the paints, tools and accessories that go with the hobby. That crossover gives the place a lively, multi-hobby feel, with card players and army painters sharing the same space and the same event calendar.

The shop is known for its welcoming community and for a business style described by customers as honest and fair, which matters when you are trading or selling a collection. Staff will talk through the value of a trade instead of rushing it, and several shoppers say they were made to feel comfortable even as complete beginners.

Hours are Monday and Tuesday 1PM to 9PM, closed Wednesday, Thursday through Sunday 1PM to 11:30PM, so it is one of the later-closing Nashville card shops. The address is 7648 Hwy 70 S, Suite 20, Nashville, TN 37221, and the phone number is (629) 305-8279. Check the shop's website for current tournament nights before you head over.
