Space Goblin Collectibles

South Austin spot on William Cannon where MTG, Lorcana and Pokemon singles share shelves, and comfortable chairs invite you to organize your binder in the shop.

Space Goblin Collectibles brings a serious singles counter to the south Austin stretch of William Cannon Drive. Visitors describe a store that is clean and well lit, with a large range of booster packs and singles that spans Magic, Lorcana and Pokemon, and a few go out of their way to mention the soft, comfortable chairs where they sort their binders.

The staff are the story here. Reviewers name Chad as a Magic player with deep knowledge and Connor as someone who'll hang around while you open packs, and say prices are fair, especially on singles. A visitor from out of state picked up a booster box and pulled an enchanted card from it, which tells you the shop is the kind that welcomes people to open product in the store. Another customer traded for a Pikachu and found packs and tins priced fairly compared with other shops.

For collectors searching for Pokemon cards in Austin, the draw is the combination of trade-friendly service and decent stock of both sealed and singles. For Magic players, the shop works as a place to find specific cards without ordering online. Customers also note that the business has grown, giving the south side of town its own gathering place for the hobby.

The shop is open 11AM to 9PM Monday through Friday, 11AM to 7PM Saturday and 11AM to 6PM Sunday, so after-work visits are easy. Weeknights are a good time for slow browsing. Call 512-200-1702 or check spacegoblincollectibles.com if you want to confirm a particular single before making the trip.
