Pegasus Games is a Madison, Wisconsin institution — one of the longest-running hobby and gaming shops in the state, with over 45 years of history serving the Madison community. Founded decades ago and beloved by generations of gamers and collectors, Pegasus Games has grown from a small local shop into a premier destination for trading card games, board games, collectibles, and community events.

The store's trading card game selection is among the best in Madison. Magic: The Gathering has always been a cornerstone of Pegasus Games' identity, with an extensive singles inventory, booster products, and a thriving event program including Friday Night Magic (FNM), drafts, pre-releases, and Commander nights. The knowledgeable staff can help new players build decks and veteran players find the specific cards they're hunting for their collection.

Pokémon TCG is another major focus at Pegasus Games. The shop carries the latest sets, booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, and a wide selection of singles. Regular Pokémon League sessions and tournaments give players of all ages a place to play and build community. Other popular TCGs in stock include Star Wars: Unlimited, Disney Lorcana, Flesh and Blood, and Yu-Gi-Oh.

Beyond trading cards, Pegasus Games is a hub for the Madison tabletop gaming community. The board game selection is outstanding, covering everything from family-friendly titles to deep strategy games and cooperative adventures. The store also carries miniatures, role-playing games (D&D, Pathfinder, and more), and gaming accessories.

The event calendar at Pegasus Games is packed year-round. In addition to regular TCG tournaments and drafts, the shop hosts special events, launch parties for new set releases, and community game nights. The spacious gaming area in the back of the store is almost always occupied with players engaged in games of all types, creating the lively community atmosphere that Pegasus Games is famous for.
