BOSCO'S Comics Cards and Games

BOSCO's is Alaska's premier destination for comics, sports cards, and tabletop games, with two Anchorage locations serving the community since the 1980s. The flagship Spenard Road store is packed with back-issue comics, sports cards of every sport, and an active events calendar.

BOSCO's Comics Cards and Games has been a cornerstone of Alaska's hobby community for decades, earning a reputation as the Last Frontier's most beloved multi-category collectibles store. Founded in the 1980s, the Spenard Road flagship location has grown from a small comics boutique into a sprawling hobby superstore that stocks everything from baseball cards to role-playing sourcebooks.

The sports card section — known internally as "The Card Shop" — is one of the most impressive in the state. Collectors will find wall-to-wall singles from every major American sport: baseball, football, basketball, hockey, soccer, wrestling, NASCAR, golf, and more. Whether you're hunting for vintage wax packs from the 1980s or the latest Topps Chrome hobby boxes, BOSCO's keeps the shelves stocked for every era and every budget.

Beyond sports cards, BOSCO's is a full-service comic shop with an extensive inventory of new releases (DC titles drop on Tuesdays, Marvel and others on Wednesdays), thousands of back-issue boxes, graphic novels, manga, and an enormous wall of trade paperbacks. The store also carries trading card games including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece, and Flesh & Blood, along with sealed product, booster boxes, and individual singles.

BOSCO's hosts a robust events calendar seven days a week, featuring Magic: The Gathering tournaments, Commander pods, and Friday Night Commander sessions at the Spenard location. The Geek Swap Meet — a community trading event that draws collectors from across southcentral Alaska — is among the most anticipated recurring events on the local hobby calendar.

The store is open daily except for major holidays, and the staff are known for their deep product knowledge and genuine passion for the hobby. Owner John and his team have built a community hub where lifelong collectors and newcomers feel equally at home. Whether you're a snowbird visiting Anchorage or a longtime Alaska resident, BOSCO's is an essential stop.

A second location inside the Dimond Center mall (800 E. Dimond Blvd.) offers mall hours and the same great selection, making it convenient for shoppers in South Anchorage. Both locations accept buy, sell, and trade transactions on sports cards and collectibles.
