CAB Comics packs Marvel, DC, and indie books alongside Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh singles into a Sherwood Forest Shopping Center storefront on Flagstaff's Milton Road.
Cory Bushnell opened CAB Comics around 2010 and has run it ever since from the Sherwood Forest Shopping Center on South Milton Road, across from Bookmans and next to the McDonald's. It bills itself as the only store in northern Arizona dedicated to comic books, and the shelves back the claim: new comics every Wednesday, a staff-pick section, variant covers, and a back-issue selection that keeps regulars digging.
The card side is Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh. CAB stocks singles and sealed product for both, and "MTG cards" is one of the most-cited topics in its Google reviews, which sit at 4.6 across more than 120 ratings. Non-sport trading cards, HeroClix, board games, and a healthy RPG shelf that includes small-press titles fill out the rest of the floor. It's a compact store, and reviewers often note how much it manages to hold. Funko figures and other toys crowd the remaining corners, and the front counter is where the singles binders live, so ask to flip through them rather than hunting the shelves.
CAB has hosted Friday Night Magic and HeroClix nights in past years, but the current weekly play schedule isn't posted online, so call or check the shop's Facebook before coming for an event. What you can count on is a comic book club that started during the pandemic and still meets, a pull-list service for regulars, and online ordering through ComicHub and the shop's eBay store with in-store pickup.
Hours vary by day: 11AM to 3PM Monday and Tuesday, 11AM to 7PM Wednesday through Saturday, and noon to 4PM Sunday. For a Flagstaff card shop run that also scratches the comics itch, CAB is a five-minute drive from Geekery Games, making the two an easy same-afternoon loop for trading cards in Flagstaff along Milton Road.
