Ed's one-man Flagstaff Sports Cards shop, hidden down a hallway off North San Francisco Street, has stocked vintage and modern wax downtown for 30-plus years.

You could walk past Flagstaff Sports Cards a dozen times without seeing it. The shop is tucked in Suite 102 down a hallway inside the Aspen Sports building at 13 North San Francisco Street, with no storefront on the sidewalk. Inside is a small room run by Ed, who has been selling cards in downtown Flagstaff since the mid-1990s and has a 4.9 Google rating across nearly 50 reviews to show for it.

This is the only dedicated sports card shop in Flagstaff. Baseball, football, basketball, and hockey all get shelf space, with soccer mixed in. Sealed Bowman and Topps hobby and mega boxes sit alongside singles, and there's a vintage vein running through the inventory; one collector picked up early Nolan Ryan cards here. Non-sport product rounds it out: some Magic, Pokemon, Star Wars, RPG odds and ends, and movie posters and memorabilia on the walls.

The experience is old-school in the best sense. NPR plays in the background, and reviewers keep coming back to the same detail: Ed will take the time to explain a set, a grading scale, or a rookie card's market to a kid who has never opened a pack. There are no tournaments or breaks, just a dealer who knows his stock. He'll buy and trade on a small scale, but this isn't a place with a formal buylist.

Hours are short and midday: 10:30AM to 3PM Monday through Thursday, until 4PM Friday, until 5PM Saturday, and closed Sunday.
