About The Shop
Tucson's longest-running card shop, founded in 1998 by collector George Mares. Sports cards, Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, comic books, and pop culture collectibles on Speedway Blvd.
Showtime Cards has been a pillar of Tucson's collecting community since 1998. Owner George Mares started as a passionate sports card collector and built the shop into a full-spectrum destination covering baseball, basketball, football, hockey, golf, UFC, and every major TCG. The Speedway Blvd store carries sealed hobby and retail products, graded slabs, raw singles, and a growing comic book section featuring new releases alongside graded Silver Age keys. Weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic tournaments keep the competitive scene thriving, while fair pricing and a knowledgeable staff make walk-ins feel welcome whether they're hunting a specific card or just browsing. After more than 27 years in business, Showtime remains the shop veterans point newcomers to first.
