Overtime Sports on Speedway packs Tucson sports cards, graded slabs, Pokemon and UofA memorabilia into one shop, with jerseys and autographs beside the packs.
Overtime Sports reads like a fan's den turned into a storefront. The east Speedway shop at 6248 E Speedway Blvd blends a trading card counter with racks of jerseys, autographed pieces and Arizona Wildcats gear, so it works as well for a gift run as for a pack-ripping session.
Cards cover nearly every league: MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL, plus soccer, WNBA and UFC. Boxes, packs, complete sets and supplies are stocked, and a graded-card section offers slabs for collectors who prefer authenticated condition. Pokemon has a place too, which makes the shop a useful stop for families split between sports and TCG collectors. If you are hunting sports cards in Tucson with a side of memorabilia, few shops in town combine the two this thoroughly.
The collectibles side goes deep: autographed and framed items, bobbleheads, figurines and pins, along with themed displays for Jordan, Kobe and LeBron and a strong run of UofA merchandise. Apparel includes jerseys, jackets and hats, with big-and-tall sizing available. The shop also handles card trades, organizes card shows with outside vendors, and can host parties.
If you plan to sell, come informed. Like most shops, Overtime makes buy offers below retail and offers more in store credit than cash, so check recent sales of your cards first and decide which option works for you.
Hours are 10:30AM-6PM Monday through Thursday, 10:30AM-7PM Friday and Saturday, and 12PM-6PM on Sunday. Saturday afternoons are lively with regulars, while weekday mornings are quieter for browsing graded cases. Parking is easy in the Speedway strip, and the shop is a quick drive from several other east-side card stores.
