KCS Nerd Shack stocks English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean Pokemon sealed product in Yuma and runs the KCS Cards & Collectibles Show at the county fairgrounds.
A family of longtime collectors opened KCS Nerd Shack in July 2024 at 670 East 32nd Street, Suite 1, and the shop has grown quickly on the strength of one unusual niche: Pokemon sealed product in four languages. English boxes share the shelves with Japanese, Chinese, and Korean sets, which is rare anywhere in Arizona and essentially unique in Yuma. Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, One Piece, and Gundam are also stocked, with pre-orders available on the shop's website.
KCS is a Wizards Play Network store and hosts weekly play, but its bigger contribution to the local scene is the KCS Cards & Collectibles Show, a two-day vendor event the shop organizes at the Yuma County Fairgrounds' Legacy Event Center. Recent editions ran in June and September 2026 from 11AM to 7PM both days, bundling Pokemon, One Piece, and Gundam tournaments with dealer tables for cards, toys, video games, and comics. Earlier shows were held at the Yuma Civic Center.
The shop itself is modest and welcoming; reviewers describe the owners as fair on pricing and enthusiastic about the hobby, and note that just about every TCG has a game night. A loyalty program runs through the website, and the shop also sells handmade crocheted items, a reminder that this is a family business first. Singles are available alongside the sealed wall, and the shop's TikTok and YouTube channels preview new arrivals before they hit the shelves.
Hours as posted on Google: closed Monday, 1PM to 8PM Tuesday and Thursday, 1PM to 6PM Wednesday, 1PM to 10PM Friday, 11AM to 10PM Saturday, and 11AM to 7PM Sunday. The shop's website lists slightly different times and suggests checking Facebook, so confirm before a long drive. For Japanese Pokemon cards in Yuma, this Yuma card shop is the only stop.
