New in 2026 on Horizon Dr: a clean, well-lit Grand Junction shop for football, basketball, and baseball singles and sealed, plus Pokemon, Marvel cards, and mystery bags.
The Card District opened its Horizon Drive suite in the summer of 2026 and immediately filled a gap on Grand Junction's north side, near the I-70 interchange and the hotel corridor. Early reviewers use the same words: clean, organized, bright. Cards are sorted by sport and set in labeled cases rather than dumped in bins, and the owner works the floor personally, which has earned the shop a perfect rating through its first two dozen reviews.
Sports cards lead. Football, basketball, and baseball singles occupy the main cases, with sealed hobby and retail product on the back wall and a steady flow of new releases. Pokemon gets a dedicated section for families coming in with kids, and Marvel trading cards are a niche most Western Slope shops skip entirely. The store also stocks premium supplies, sports memorabilia, jerseys, and apparel, so it reads as a sports-collector lifestyle shop rather than a pure card counter. Mystery bags at the register have become a small reviewer favorite for the value inside.
Because the shop is new, the services list is still forming. Buying and selling is not yet advertised on the website, and there is no grading-submission program listed, so call 970-201-9688 if you want to move a collection. What is in place is straightforward retail with prices that early customers describe as more than reasonable.
Hours are 11 AM to 7 PM Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday closing at 6 according to Google (the website says 7) and Monday closed. Horizon Drive has easy parking, and the location makes it a quick detour for travelers passing through on I-70.
For sports cards Grand Junction collectors want to flip through in person, The Card District is the newest option and, based on its opening months, one worth watching as the inventory deepens.
